This will be the first time these two accomplished artists have ever shown together. Rodger Bechtold and Susan Morosky have similar brush strokes and treatment and both choose to draw from natural surroundings but that is where their similarity ends. Bechtold paints with an orchestration of form and color that makes the separation between representation and abstraction nearly indistinct and Morosky's work is from a complete abstract vocabulary inspired by the properties of water, fields, and their boundaries.
