"Between Homes" is Steven Walker's first solo exhibit with the glave kocen gallery. He relocated about a year ago to Ohio and this exhibit grew out of his road trips to and from Virginia. Steven says "My goal is to tell a story, a tale even, about a bird that's out of the nest and is starting to embrace his new home while appreciating his hometown."

1st solo exhibit from this exciting young artist raised in Richmond now living in Ohio. Deep roots still are abound for Steven as he was asked to teach at his Alma mater VCU just a few years after graduating. He also secured a spot on VMFA's travelling exhibition that will tour through 2011. His landscapes are extremely popular and contain a warm illustrative quality. This solo show is long overdue.
